History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tanner. He tends to his Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Halander embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Halander is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Navigator. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he would like to get married and retire
