History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. History: Astar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Norman fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
