History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Doctor, but he got bored and became a Carter. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears many layers of old clothing at all times, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His silver hair is smooth and relatively long. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Bertram is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Bertram never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Glassblower arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He now mingles about in high society.
