History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Baern was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Jocelyn reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Monk school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Spear fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
