History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lucan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
