History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Qualen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Qualen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Gruk lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and an old rival family wants him found

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student he started as a Cook, but he got bored and became a Unemployed. He has worked as a Unemployed like his mother before him.

His white eyes peer out from beneath his feathered tan hat.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
