Personality: Aelar wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Armorer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
