History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Halander was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Halander's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Spice Merchant. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and a rival would like him out of the picture
