History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Curran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to illithids.

His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Weaver they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bellfounder, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to reunite with his absent father

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has achieved small success as a Bricklayer.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and expand his business

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to raise his children well
