His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. His amber eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a Laborer, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Architect hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Direcris was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is dark but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He wears his golden hair up in a very large beehive style do. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Halfling culture. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His crest is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His red eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Rivaan is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Rivaan was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Stableman. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
