He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born into a rich family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Drifting grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
