History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Umpen grew up listening to his father's many stories. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Umpen's homeland. Umpen decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.
