Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a tan vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His brown leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his tan boots flare out at the collars. His red fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. His eyes are green.
Personality: Aura is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He plays an instrument quite well.
History: Born in the east to a Map Maker, Aura learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and carries nunchakus. His rusty crest is smooth and relatively long. His skin is flawless and his gold eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He plays an instrument quite well.
History: Azzakh was born with his father's beautiful face. Through the years after Azzakh was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Azzakh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Azzakh and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: He has a missing right leg. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. With bright silver hair and a scraggly beard. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Efferil was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: Spear hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His auburn hair is heavily combed to the left. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
