In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Paelias never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
