History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now owns his own business.

Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Therai is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
