History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Randal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
