History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. History: Right-Handed hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Right-Handed alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Right-Handed fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Shamash wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Cleric, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
