Percival was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Shoemaker. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Vondal has worked very hard to control his curse. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vondal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
