History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Berrian's homeland. Berrian decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Lucan embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Lucan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
