History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. Rolf was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Guard. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Pelaios alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
