Description: 5'7" and muscular, this eastern man wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a whip, but if one is not available he will default to his quarterstaff. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. He has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Merchant born in the past three hundred years. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Merchant for hire.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Sporting a black mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His hair is long and golden with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. This brown eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: He stands about 3'5" and is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Tailor. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Wrenn does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and to find somewhere to settle down
