History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. When Kâka reached his early adolescence his Half-Orc father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has achieved small success as a Gardener.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Rathkran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Map Maker, but he got bored and became a Blacksmith. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Blacksmith.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new blacksmith responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kriv grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kriv. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
