History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Astar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he feels threatened by others

He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Aerdeth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
