History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Through the years after Raer was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Raer's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raer fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He hates Half-Orcs with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. A true patriot, Hoshû would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Hoshû has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Qualen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
