History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Quarethon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Quarethon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Dyer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
