History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Cairn liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bernard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bernard. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is content; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is his passion; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother.
