History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born in the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He has a white handlebar mustache and slicked back white hair. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Olrok is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Olrok alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
