History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Being a Ruler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Shane speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Shane was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. One day when Borgu was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Borgu was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He sports a flattop hair cut. His violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Ugol lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
