History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Through the years after Hadarai was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hadarai's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 43. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gunter is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
