Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. History: He was born in the west. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
