History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nicholas embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: Nicholas hails from a village terrorized by drow. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many drow want him driven away

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Elven culture. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Thamior was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Thamior's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Thamior and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a black coat over a yellow low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Detective. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Lucan enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lucan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lucan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lucan. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
