Personality: He is happy with his job as a Navigator. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He tends to his Navigator job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He worked as a nervous Baker and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Priest, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Jabbie is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
