Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nelkin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Halfling Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he feels kind of lost in life

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Rolf was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Marshal. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Dean was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and further expansion of business
