His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Therai has worked very hard to control his curse. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gildmak grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Halfling Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero.
