Naill Horineth, Male Elf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs, and is pretty ugly. Sporting a black mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.
Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
Ideals: Artistic, Logical, Entrepeneur. Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Military. Occupation: Hunter

Glim Tarkelby, Male Gnome [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a black coat. Sporting a white mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Glim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Ernest Marlowe, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Sporting a white mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed red hat.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Animal Trainer. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Ernest was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Darrak Durthane, Male Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a worn and beaten armor, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'5" when asserting himself. His hair is brown and curly. His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Darrak isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Darrak fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Beloril Glanhig, Male Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He wears a top hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During his travels, Beloril and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Beloril discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Beloril fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
