History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Balimaar's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Balimaar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Balimaar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Born to a Locksmith, his father struggled to pay the bills. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He hates Dragonborns with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A gifted student he started as a Stylist, but he got bored and became a Navigator. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things
