History: Born to a Farmer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: An older man who wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame, he is not a threatening figure. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: The child of a Stylist, who enjoyed hunting, Zephan was taken on many hunting expeditions. Zephan liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new soapmaker responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pikar embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Pikar was born with his mother's beautiful face. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

Description: This slender man stands about 6'2". He dresses well, wearing black shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Balam does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Balam lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Balam was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and regain custody of his son
