Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. The war was a terrible time for him, and Astar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born in a small desert village. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Lucan was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

History: Gerald was born with his mother's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
