Description: This eastern man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His clothes are grease stained in places. His moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he tends to wear a violet poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Hadarai enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Hadarai liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
