History: Born in the north to a Bellfounder, Zook learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. His bronze crest is unkempt and raggedy. His eyes are red and catlike.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mreksh grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mreksh. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He has achieved small success as a Detective.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Detective but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a Spice Merchant, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
