Through the years after Astar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Astar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Elaim alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and doesn't want to be a barrister and was forced into it by his family

History: Eldon lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. He has achieved small success as a Beggar.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bounty Hunter. He has worked as a Bounty Hunter like his father before him.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and wants to raise his children well
