Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arannis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Expand his business; and sabotage a competitor
