Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Faran is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Faran hails from a village terrorized by giants. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Faran was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: He is a Spice Merchant first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. A true patriot, Bulzo would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Valafar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Valafar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and to clean up the streets

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Fragrant abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.
