History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Gardain liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: Born in the north to a Dilettante, Heward learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
