Personality: Paymon is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He's also a talented Mercenary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Aldous hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting goblins, the young Aldous began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Aldous was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Butcher and was forced into it by his family; and he is greedy

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is greedy
