History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Ortegar's homeland. Ortegar decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ortegar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His first spouse was a Cook, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Roge does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gifted student he started as a Mayor, but he got bored and became a Sage. He tends to his Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
