History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Peren grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born in the north. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
