History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He bought a quarterstaff and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Balam hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Balam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Gifted from a young age, Jocelyn studied abroad. Jocelyn was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Actor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Medrash fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
