History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a pastel coat, and is pretty ugly. His silver hair is matted, messy, and big. His fierce red eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His hair is cut close to his head. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Mason arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
