History: Habor hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Habor grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Habor. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Eldon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
